The walks on the roof of the world, the Himalayas, leading up to 5417 meters in altitude and shines with good infrastructure and the fascinating mountain giants of the Himalaya.

Landscapes breathtaking, especially after Pisang at 3200m where the valley opens and where the view is emerging on Annapurna III (7755m) and Annapurna IV (7525m) and Gangapurna (7455m).

After the village of Manang, worth making a detour to Lake Tilicho, accessible by Tilicho Pass (5100m) and at 4,920m is the highest of Nepal. Located at the foot of the Great Barrier (734m, named by Maurice Herzog during his expedition to Annapurna in 1950), azure blue when it is not frozen, it is still little visited because it does is not located on the tower itself. Back in Manang, Thorong Phedi climb (4400m) at the foot of the Thorong La, and this is where the trip to the lake Tilicho proves very beneficial in terms of acclimatization. The next day, the climb to 5416m is long and windy, but what satisfaction one time up to admire the valley of the Kali Gandaki which leads directly to Tibet.

Although still in Nepal, north of the valley is already on the Tibetan plateau. The descent to Muktinah, holy place for Hindus and Buddhists, reveals an arid valley or different shades of ocher mingle. Once Kagbeni, the road takes a southerly direction and is crossed again the Himalayas, surrounded by famous peaks such as Nilgiris (Blue Mountains) to the left and right Daulaghiri, which with its 8172m is 7th 8000 on the planet.
