Welcome to Kathmandu! Our private English-speaking tour guide & driver will pick you up in time at Kathmandu airport and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Kathmandu. A paper board with the sign of your name will be held high by the guide at exit of the airport. The rest of day is free at your own leisure. Evening join our special cultural dinner with traditional sherpa music & dances. overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast at hotel you will be Pick up at the hotel (8:30 am to 9:00 am) and We visit following places before we fly to Pokhara.
> Swayambhunath – Swoyambhunath temple is an ancient religious Stupa atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. An excursion up to the Buddhist shrine and Unesco World Heritage Site of Swayambhunath is one of the best experiences of Kathmandu.
> Boudhanath-The Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia, which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet. We stop for lunch at a rooftop restaurant within Boudhanath before we visit Pashupatinath Temple.
> Pashupatinath- Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu and One of the most sacred Hindu temples of Nepal. After visiting this place we check in airport for flight to Pokhara.
Flight: Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara gives a great chance to experience the magnificent views of Himalayas including Annapurna and Langtang range. You will fly to north over the snowcapped Himalaya and green Mahabharat range to the south is adventurous. (Flight time 25 minutes). Once in Pokhara you will enjoy some boating in Phewa Lake and in the evening explore the lake Side.
Overnight stay at Hotel
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel around 7:30- 8:00 A.M after breakfast. Today we drive out of pokhara city to Khade (approx. 1hours) in our private vehicle. From there,We will start our wonderful first day trekking and hiking to Australian Camp.
01:Trekking durations: approx. 2.5 hrs. - 3 hrs. (Gradually uphill)
02:Mountain views: If the weather allows, the views from this area are breathtaking.on a clear day we get stunning views of Annapurna South, Huinchuli, Machhapuchhare and Lamjung Himal.
03:Australian camp: Australia Camp was formerly a clearing in the forest with great mountain views where trekking groups used to camp. There are now numerous trekking lodges.
04:Lodge accommodation: we stay overnight at our basic but cozy lodge. The lodge will give us a flavor of trekking in Nepal and there is a menu with a good choice of food.
01: Wake up: early morning for amazing sunrise views over Himalayas.
02: Breakfast: we eat our healthy breakfast at lodge and you will have time to pack up and get ready.
03: Trek start: We start our trek around 7:30-8:00 Am from Australian camp. It will take is approximately 2 hrs. walking.
04: Dhampus Villages: This village is set on a ridge with wonderful views of the Annapurna’s and Machhapuchhare, the 'Fishtail' mountain can be seen as it sits in the middle of the range and has a very distinctive shape. Considered holy this mountain cannot be climbed by anyone.
05: From Dhampus we descend on a stone staircase trail to Dhampus Phedi where we meet the road and our private vehical. We drive back to Pokhara and the rest of the day is free.
Optional: We also can ride the jeep from Dhampus to Pokhara.
After breakfast at hotel we We have the whole day to explore Pokhara before we fly to kathmandu.
01: Museum: we visit The Mountain Museum & Gurkha museum. Both has interesting displays and for those interested in the Gurkhas there is a Gurkha Museum
02: Davis fall: Locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley, it is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.
03: Tibetan Refugee Camps: The Tibetan village Tashiling in the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara are renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s.Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.
04: Lunch: We stop for lunch at lakeside restaurant before we fly back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu you will pickup at Kathmandu airport by our guide & transfer to hotel.
After breakfast at hotel we drive to Bhaktapur city.
01: Tour & sightseeing of Bhaktapur: Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur is known as the 'City of Devotees', the 'City of Culture', the 'Living Heritage', and 'Nepal's Cultural Gem'. It is one of the 3 royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. We stop for lunch at there.
02: After lunch we drive to Changu & hike to tilkot. We hike about 2hrs. The hike will be through the forest with beautiful villages views. Once we reach at Tilkot, we drive to nagarkot by private car.
03: Nagarkot: Best place for sunrise and sunset views over himalayas. Enjoy your farewell dinner at top of the world.
After breakfast, we drive to kathmandu Airport by our private comfortable vehicle. it takes about 1hrs. drive from Nagarkot to Airport. our guide & driver will drop you airport in time.
In Kathmandu, pokhara & nagarkot you will stay in comfortable, clean and centrally located tourist category hotel. During one night in trek you will sleep in small local lodges, known as teahouse. The lodges are small guesthouses run by local families. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 250.
Once you reach the airport in Kathmandu, our airport representative will warmly welcome you and will transfer to the hotel on a private car. Also Private comfortable transportation is included for whole trip during city tour and sightseeing.
Kathmandu-pokhara-Kathmandu both inbounds and outbound domestic flight worth of US$224 each person is included. Kathmandu to Pokhara through domestic flight is 30 minutes long. Pokhara is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Nepal. Located in the western region, in the lap of the magnificent 6777 m high Mt. Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and with Lake Phewa serenely shining right in the middle of the city, Pokhara attracts thousands of tourists every year. The seven big and small lakes in the vicinity also give the name Lake City to Pokhara and serves to make it one of the most idyllic tourist destinations in Nepal.
In Kathmandu & Pokhara, breakfast is included in the price. Lunch and dinner is not included. However, We will provide you free welcome/farewell dinner at special local restaurant. You will dine in a local restaurant and be entertained with traditional Sherpa & Nepali music with cultural show with traditional Sherpa dance.There are plenty of nice restaurants located near the hotel and you can also eat at the hotel. It is usually cheap to eat at restaurants in Kathmandu & Pokhara. On the trek you will have to buy all the meals at the lodges. You will eat your breakfast and dinner at the lodge where you spend the night and you can buy lunch on the lodges you pass by during the day. You can buy clean bottled water as well as soft drinks hot tea, coffee and beer in most lodges.
