Nepal General Information

Despite moult historical and political turmoil, Nepal has lost none of its fascination. Since opening its borders to foreigners in the 1950s, this tiny country radiates an almost mystical attraction for travelers.

Others come rafting on rivers with swirling waters or bungee jumping in the Himalayan gorges. Still others opt for a more leisurely pace, enjoying the view of the Himalayan peaks, lounging on the medieval squares dotted with temples of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, or joining the pilgrims around the stupas and temples centuries-Valley Kathmandu.
